Tron was the first American film to make computer technology seem cool; today's media onslaught shovels Ipods, the new economy, and the inevitability of technology down our throats. In Tron vs. Woodstock I combined a scene from the 1982 film with helicopter shots of the 1969 rock festival, crystal formations and NYSE quotes. This image considers the collision of generational ideologies----and the evisceration of 60s-borne idealism--within a cinematic, dynamic context.
